What’s Next?

As we finished up our first fast of 2020, my family and I have been seeking God and asking Him, “what’s next?”

We know our church and others have been declaring that this is the year of double blessings, clear vision, clarity and restoration. I have been praying personally that we would walk according to “Who God Says I Am”! So I wondered! God, am I doing what I’m supposed to be doing? Am I hearing your voice clearly for my mom, my husband, my children, my job and for my life?

But within all of these questions, I began to second-guess my own identity and asking, “Who am I? What’s my purpose? What’s my destiny? What are my gifts?”

It is so easy to second-guess ourselves, and start believing we are slipping in some areas and allowing ourselves to doubt our vision and the gifts. We then compare ourselves to others, and ask, “Are we even qualified?” However, God reminds us: you are ENOUGH, you are QUALIFIED, you are GIFTED, and you do have a PURPOSE! Why? Because God created you. God knew you before you were in your mother’s womb! So let’s celebrate the Good News that God is well pleased with us!

STAY FOCUSED. Even if January didn’t start off great for you! You have 11 more months to go!

Start declaring God’s word over your house, family, work, finances and church. Start with these declarations from Ephesians 1 and 2 —
WHO GOD SAYS I AM:
  • I am blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ (1:3)
  • I was chosen before the foundations of the world. (1:4)
  • I am called to be holy and without blame in love. (1:4)
  • I am adopted in Christ to Father God. (1:5)
  • I am accepted in the family of God. (1:6)
  • I am forgiven. (1:7)
  • I have a wonderful inheritance. (1:11)
  • I am sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. (1:13)
  • I have a hope and a calling. (1:18)
  • I am alive. (2:1)
  • I am seated in heavenly places with Christ. (2:6)
  • I am God’s workmanship. (2:10)
  • I am created for good works. (2:13)
  • I have been brought near to God. (2:13)
  • I am not separated from God. (2:14-18)
  • I have access today to the Father! (2:18)
  • I will be what God has created me to be!
  • I will see myself the way God sees me!
  • My children will walk in their purpose according to God’s plan!

So as we move into the second month of 2020. Seek God for your NEXT. Do you know who you are? Yes, a child of the most high God, you are fearfully and wonderfully made! Don’t compare yourself, doubt yourself and when you feel like you are losing focus, remember who created you! So, get ready!
